Mojo

Yesterday, I mentioned that I had lost my mojo for quite some time. Actually it’s been years. There have been many well intentioned returns here, yet for various reasons it never took. Life has been kinda crazy, and between external events and internal healing needing to be done I just wasn’t able to keep up any kind of momentum. Well, a lot of time has passed in which I’ve been able to begin reclaiming parts of myself and my life. Enough that I am ready to be here more often. Not saying that I’ll be anywhere near perfect as things in life are still very much a work in progress.

I have completely wiped out many years of blogging here. Several years back, I deleted probably a decade’s worth of posts for reasons which were silly in hindsight. Yesterday, I zapped the handful of posts from the times I tried to come here and write before I was ready. I knew that I wasn’t ready, but I missed it so badly! This blog, in its prime was a mishmash of any and all kinds of stuff that I was either working on creatively or wanted to talk about. Then it was suggested to me by a podcast host after I had been on their show a few times that separating my creative and random content from my spiritual content would be “more professional”. Well, I did that and not only did this blog suffer, my creative juices started to run dry. Their intentions were good. It’s just that it wasn’t for me. My style has always been to just go to one spot and post whatever strikes my fancy that day and the blog did just fine.

So, ‘Pull Up A Toadstool’ has returned to its roots. You’ll see random things here. As I would always tell people back in the earlier years, just take what interests you and leave what doesn’t. We are all interested in what we like, and that’s what makes the world go round. There are going to be more creative project posts of various kinds, spiritual articles, oracle card posts, poetry, and who knows what other random stuff will enter my “oh look, squirrel” brain. Thank you for joining me in the fun! See you next time.
