Mandala In Ink

Over the weekend, I indulged in creativity. I did some work on one of the scarves that I am making for a charity project. I also sat down on Saturday and worked all afternoon on a mandala which was done with ink on watercolor paper. There’s just something so relaxing for me in making stuff like this.

    • Thank you! Lol…I never thought that I would draw or paint. Gotta love picking up new things in your 40’s! Coloring is great. I haven’t done that in a while. I see a coloring book in my future
      😉

      • I have picked up so many new things since hitting my mid 30’s I am no longer surprised by what I am just starting at this point in my life LMAO I have always loved coloring, but I hadn’t done it in alot of years, then I found a Goddess Coloring book at the craft store lol … I went on a serious coloring book shopping binge lol … We did a coloring party two weekends ago up at camp, and everyone enjoyed themselves alot so we may have to do it again 🙂

      • You have a point there. Maybe there’s something about getting a little older that gives us the courage to try new things. Or, it might possibly be that we have finally seen that not doing things that look fun so that we can do the “shoulds” in life really doesn’t get us any further so we may as well have the fun! I am more productive when I allow myself to play. Yay on the coloring. 😀

      • I am not sure what it is either, your answers are nicer than mine lol … I think it was that I finally got to the point in my life where others peoples opinions of how I should behave & act no longer mattered. 🙂
I agree completely with you on being more productive when I allow myself to have fun, I think it is one of the ways we release all the built up stuff 🙂
        Yay to letting loose 🙂

  1. I love it! Mandalas are so awesome. I love to colour them. Want to start a new project, putting them on old CDs with glass paint.
