NaPoWriMo Day 4 ~ Lune~ More Love

Today’s prompt at the NaPoWriMo site is to write a lune of just one stanza or more than one stanza linked to create a unified poem. What is a lune? The version of a lune which was suggested to use for today’s creation is the version developed by Jack Collum in which the first line has three words, the second line has five words, the third line has three words.

More Love

What you say
Can cause hearts to break
Or to soar

Make it count
Learn to walk in kindness
Not creating wounds

Why have we
Somehow confused cruelty with honesty
It isn’t so

Let us change
Exercising more empathy and compassion
For one another

It isn’t hard
The effort is the same
Care to try?
