Wishcasting Wednesday: What do you wish to wake up to?

My participation in Wishcasting Wednesday over at Jamie Ridler Studios  has been sporadic at best, but when I saw this week’s question I felt compelled to answer it.

I wish to wake up to the sweet sleeping face of someone I love…and of course who loves me in return. To share kisses and conversation over coffee before starting a day of writing/creating/counseling/healing. A life with enough structure to feel secure, yet not enough to feel drab and dull. If only I could draw you a picture of my ideal vision around this question. If only I could put my answer adequately into words without taking up pages and pages.

When I think of this question the answer is so vivid, because I’ve done a lot of vision work around the same thought for months and months now. I can see the house in which I live…the yard…the water…my home office…the surrounding area…my herb garden…my flowers…my clients…the animals…and last but not least…my ideal mate.

This house in my ideal vision is one which I’ve had dreams of for over ten years. I have been to this place so many times in my sleep that I know it intimately. When the day comes for me to actually live there, I will know it immediately.

To sum it up…I wish to wake up to the joy of living the life I’ve envisioned for myself.

How about you?

  1. I wish I could wake up next to my love every day but I am very grateful for the time we do have together. It’s very special…also makes you put all the stupid mundane stuff that couple’s argue over, because they’re together all the time, into perspective. Do I really care that he wants to watch a show/movie I don’t? Is it worth arguing over the remote? Nah….I can play online and enjoy sitting next to him and he’s happy b/c he gets to do/watch what he likes, a luxury he doesn’t get during the week like I have.

    • JoJo, you are right about all of that. Sounds like you guys have learned your life’s lessons about what relationships are truly about. I’m happy for you. Thanks for staying with me after the blog move!
