We have come to a time to renewal in a new cycle of life. We could very well be approaching a change which will alter the way that we live our lives as well as how we view things. Has there been a recent spiritual awakening in your life? Maybe you’ve begun a healthier way of living? We have the chance to experience a new life, but we have to be willing to make positive changes.
Note about today’s card:
I feel a need to say more today, because I believe with every fiber of my being that this is a crucial time in our history…both humanity as a whole and as individuals. We live in a time of impressive and fast moving technology, with so much new knowledge and advancement at a rate which we have not seen before. However, I also believe that we’ve been living in somewhat of a dark age; one in which we have lost touch with the big picture, lost so much of our compassion, and lost touch with ourselves. So much in our world today is driven by material wealth that we have lost touch with our souls. We are seeing advances in so many sectors, but at great cost to our environment and human health in many cases. We have the ability to make change, to redetermine what matters in our lives. This might mean major changes for many of us, and we all know how uncomfortable change can be. However, we have to examine the enormous payoff of making these changes as well as the enormous cost of maintaining business as usual here on planet earth. There is so much change which needs to happen that I know that many of you are out there shaking your heads at me in disbelief. What can we do about it? Please think for a moment how tremendous the changes would be if each and every one of us would begin in our own little corners of the world, and first of all within ourselves. I’m not suggesting that any one of you, or myself, can singularly whip this mess of ours into shape. I do believe though that it all starts with each one of us doing what we can, where we can, within our realm of reach and ability. Imagine the domino effect we could start…one person at a time.
