Flowering Trees of Spring

Macro Shot of Flowering Crab Apple

Everything came out into bloom so early this year…too early, and tonight is going to bring a hard freeze. So, I figured that I would get outside and snap a few photos before the flowers are gone. A few of them turned out pretty well, so I thought that I would share.

It’s going to be a little sad to see them go, but Spring is always unpredictable. At least the trees put on a really beautiful show this year. I wasn’t able to get a very good shot of the Forsythias or the red bud tree, because my camera battery died and I am pretty sure that I have my charger in storage. Guess I need to find it!
I will definitely be getting more photos later in the year. There will be plenty of flowers in the summer to capture.

  1. Hi Auntie! Thanks. 🙂 It seems like it might be better than I thought after the cold night. Not sure yet though, because the full sun hadn't hit the yard before I had to leave. Guess I'll see when I get home later. Love you! Thanks for the thoughts.

  2. LOL! I know what you mean. Plenty of pretty blossoms where you are. I miss you too and hope to be there for a visit in April. If all works out, I should be there…yay! Thanks sister…my favorite is the macro of the apple. 🙂 *HUGS*
